PASE 2025 Conference in association with International Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ISGE)

The inaugural conference of the Pan African Society of Endometriosis in association with ISGE was held on 20th -22ndFeb at the Taj Hotel, Cape Town. This pioneering event was themed around multidisciplinary approach to the enigmatic endometriosis and bring the healthcare professionals from all over the world to discuss ways to enhance endometriosis care across Africa.

International society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ISGE) as associated partners for this meeting were happy to contribute to the scientific deliberations. We discussed the impact of endometriosis on individuals, families, and society. We shared knowledge, best practices, and innovative ideas to improve the diagnosis, treatment and the newer options.

Prof Dusan Djokovic from Portugal elaborated on Enzian classification, Prof Amal Drizi from Algeria spoke on Hysteroscopic findings of eutopic endometrium in endometriosis, Prof Emanual Nzau from Dominion Republic of Congo discussed about interdisciplinary approach to endometriosis, Prof Meenu Agarwal from India deliberated on the option of egg/embryo freezing in women suffering from endometriosis. All the lectures were very well appreciated by large audience, and they followed good interaction from the attending delegates and faculty.

Through collaboration, empathy, and a united effort, we can make a real difference in the lives of those battling endometriosis. Training and interaction with the primary physician and general gynecologist in the form of CMEs and conferences, live surgeries, and ‘hands-on training is the key.

ISGE as a partner with PASE will continue to advocate for increased research, access to quality healthcare, and enhanced support services to empower individuals and ensure that no woman suffers in silence even in the remotest corners of the world.
