Dear Professor Van Herendael,

Dear Esteemed Members of the ISGE,

It is with immense pride and profound gratitude that I report on the success of the recent hysteroscopy event jointly organized under the distinguished auspices of the ISGE and AGOPS. This landmark initiative not only marked a pivotal milestone in advancing hysteroscopic training in Algeria but also reinforced the indispensable role of specialized education in bridging existing gaps in gynecologic endoscopy.

The event attracted an impressive attendance of 170 gynecologists, all of whom benefitted from an expertly curated program consisting of seven conducted live hysteroscopy surgeries and five presentations covering a broad spectrum of contemporary and pressing topics. The surgical cases were carefully selected, with a deliberate focus on septum and Asherman’s syndrome, ensuring an optimal and highly instructive learning experience. This approach granted participants a unique opportunity to observe, firsthand, the nuanced techniques employed by our esteemed ISGE experts—Dr. Bart De Vree, Dr. Rahul Manchanda, Dr. Mostafa Mounir, and myself—in managing these intricate pathologies.

In tandem with the live surgeries, the thematic content of the presentations was judiciously crafted to complement and enhance the practical sessions, fostering a cohesive and immersive educational experience. The workshops provided a hands-on training platform that was met with overwhelming appreciation from attendees. It is noteworthy that the participants of this event had a previous training , conducted by myself, on level 1 and level 2 of hysteroscopy! Most of them have already acquired a hysteroscope and started doing basic hysteroscopy acts! As such, they exhibited unwavering enthusiasm and a profound eagerness to refine their hysteroscopic expertise, underscoring their commitment to professional advancement in this specialized domain.

The feedback we received was unequivocally enthusiastic, with attendees expressing immense satisfaction with the quality, depth, and rigor of the sessions. Their responses highlighted the critical need for continued specialized training, particularly in a rapidly evolving field where technical precision and cutting-edge knowledge are paramount. Notably, the burgeoning Algerian gynecological community—especially its newer generation of practitioners—has signaled a strong desire for further educational ventures of this caliber. This enthusiasm underscores the necessity of extending similar initiatives to other cities across Algeria, thereby fostering a more robust, technically adept, and internationally aligned generation of gynecologic endoscopists.

This event stands as a resounding testament to ISGE’s unwavering commitment to excellence, knowledge dissemination, and international collaboration in the field of gynecologic endoscopy. I am confident that this endeavor, alongside previous initiatives in Algeria, has laid the foundation for a lasting impact. It is imperative that we build upon this momentum, expanding the reach of ISGE’s educational excellence to ensure that an even broader cohort of practitioners can benefit from such transformative training experiences.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to ISGE’s leadership for its steadfast support and to my esteemed colleagues whose invaluable contributions played an instrumental role in the event’s remarkable success. I look forward to further discussions to consolidate our efforts and strategize future ventures that will elevate the landscape of hysteroscopic surgery in Algeria.

With my highest considerations,
